I don't know how...

Well last night Steve and I realized because it would cost us over 4 grand to move into a private 2 Bedroom 1 bath rental in Stanhope we have no choice but to stay where we are. I don't know how the hell we are going to live in a 1 bedroom 736 square foot apartment especially with a baby coming in September and 2 cats on top of that. OK the only way it would work is if we get rid of a lot of stuff but anyone who knows my husband knows that he isn't exactly the go getter with getting things done. I honestly don't know what we are going to do. I mean I have seen 2 bedroom apartment complexes but a lot of them doesn't allow pets and my pets are very important to me it kills me that I cannot be around them anymore because I know Steve wouldn't clean the liter box and in my condition I cannot do that. I am just so fed up right now that I don't what to do :-(

An entry

I think its been some time since I last updated my LJ. The new year has been going pretty well minus the fact that I have a pretty nasty cold and can hardly speak so I had to take off today and tomorrow it kind of stinks because I don't get any sick days or vacation pay so if I call out or take time out I am not compensated for it but I honestly got to think of my health first the last time I was sick I just kept on working to the point where I ended up in the hospital and I honestly don't want that happening again to be honest unless I am expecting (and God willing that will be the case this year) I really want to avoid them. Honestly I should have taken off yesterday but there was no one to cover. In other news one of the things I decided to do this year is be a little more cautious with my spending and to try and knock off some of the debt I owe on credit cards actually Steve says that we owe but frankly when it comes to my CC that is my debt afterall I was the only one to use those cards so I am responsible and thanks to a big vacation care and lots of work last 2 months plus Christmas money I was able to knock off 2 Credit Cards plus 3,574.67 off my Discover and I now only owe them 200.00 once that is paid I will only have my Master Card to deal with. Eventually I got to get back with better eating habbits if not for the dog walking I do everyday (minus the days I don't work) I would probably be quite heavy again. I know I put on some weight over the holidays but not sure how much as I don't have a scale oddly enough my Father thinks I lost some weight when I think I put some on.

I cannot believe I fell asleep last night on mine and Steve's 3 year wedding anniversary :-( Thank God we have an entire week in California next week he and I both need sometime away together that is looooooooooong over due! (OK, OK technically it's more like 6 days since a week from Saturday I'll be at the 2008 JemCon which should be lots of fun considering the special guests they got this year and I am looking fwd to seeing people dress up and do karaoke again) but still a vacation with Steve is a vacation. Also hope that eternalsorsha is OK I haven't seen or talked to her since our trip to the beach house and I hope all is well. I also want to thank cheezey for her Anniversary wishes. On a high note: As of tonight I have officially lost 50lbs going from 206 to 156! 12 more lbs to go and I'll be at a weight I haven't seen since 2005!! Dog walking is certainly working wonders. Oh and a message to coldwin: Steve and I wish you luck in West Virginia and hopes that you and cheezey can be together much sooner than later!!! Apartment is still in a shambles and I miss my cat terribly-I only see at most 2 days a week since he is still at my Mom's-Scary thing is there is a video on my myspace page of me talking to my cat and it shows the best our apartments looked unfortunatley I just don't have the energy to do any cleaning especially with the hours I keep with pet sitting. Well, I think that is good enough for an update-Ciao!!!
Secrets That Restaurants Don't Want You To Know

Secrets That Restaurants Don't Want You To Know	Posted Mon, Sep 08, 2008, 7:00 pm PDT

Restaurants have one major purpose: to stuff you with as much food as they possibly can. If they do that, they achieve their primary business goal, which is to lighten your wallet.

But while they’re doing that, they’re also using their best marketing tricks, craftiest numerical switcheroos, and most dastardly dietary stratagems to swap unhealthy, cheap ingredients for more expensive, wholesome ones. The result: bloated bottom lines — for their budgets, and for their customers. But we don’t want to let that happen to you, which is why we’ve spent the last two years researching all the ways restaurants try to sabotage your food choices.

Below you’ll find a sampling of the fruits of our long labor: some of the new secrets the restaurant-chain gang doesn’t want you to know. They’re only a few of the many ways restaurants fatten up their customers for the sales slaughter. Heed the warnings and you (and your family) can make it through the drive-thru alive.

1. Baskin-Robbins doesn't want you to know that.....

Sometimes a drink can have fruit in the title, but not in the cup. For instance, the top four ingredients in its Blue Raspberry Fruit Blast were Sierra Mist soda, water, sugar, and corn syrup. Since we first called the company out on this fruitless horror, Baskin-Robbins discontinued the Blue Raspberry Fruit Blast. The company also began listing all nutrition and ingredient information online. We call that progress.

If you’re looking for a real fruit smoothie, visit Jamba Juice. Just remember to check those calorie counts, so you don’t over-indulge.

2. Papa John's doesn't want you to know that...

Unlike rival chains such as Domino's, it has made little effort to introduce healthier options. After we goaded them on their slow pace of innovation, Papa John's did introduce whole grain wheat crust pizzas last May. Now, if only Papa would toss a thin-crust version into the mix and alter the recipe for sides like cheesesticks, which are loaded down with more than 2,900 milligrams of sodium!

3. Fuddruckers doesn't want you to know...

The fat content of its 1-pound burgers. We contacted our local Fuddruckers restaurant and were told that the nutritional information was available on the chain's Web site (it's not). The corporate office later responded that providing such information would be "very extensive and timely." We're pretty sure he meant "very expensive and time-consuming." How's that for a Freudian slip?

4. Panera Bread doesn't want you to know that...

The synthetic food colorings in its pastries have been linked to irritability, restlessness, and sleep disturbances in children. And British researchers found that artificial food colorings and preservatives in the diets of 3-year-olds caused an increase in hyperactive behavior. The same ingredients appear in fast-food items like mayonnaise, M&M Blizzards, and McDonald's shakes.

On Panera's Web site, you can track down calories, fat, sugar, and other nutritional numbers. If you look hard enough you'll find ingredient lists, too — and note that a few items still contain artificial coloring. Disappointing. If you want to cut out the artificial stuff entirely, head over to Chipotle: The restaurant uses no artificial colorings or flavorings. Just make sure you saw their burritos, which can have more than 1,000 calories, in half.

5. Chevy's Fresh Mex doesn't want you to know ...

How its tortillas stack up nutritionally. The chain says it provides "nutritional information regarding calories, fat, protein & carbohydrates for some of our most popular items" — the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas, for example — on its Web site. But the numbers provided don't include the tortilla: an essential component typically bloated with fat and carbs. When we called a New York Chevy’s for more information, a server told us he couldn't find that info on the in-house menu, either, which would seem to be a violation of New York city regulations. He did direct us to the same misleading nutritional information on the company's Web site. Gee, thanks.

6. Applebee’s, IHOP, Olive Garden, Outback, Red Lobster, and T.G.I. Friday’s don’t want you to know ...

The nutritional impact of their dishes. Despite the fact that we continued to pester each company, they all were mum about their nutritional information. So we had it nutritionally analyzed on our own. We may not be in this fix for long, however. New York City regulations that went into effect in July require all restaurants with 15 or more branches nationally to post calorie counts on their menus.

After tracking down every last dish, we can see what they were hiding: At Friday’s, no fewer than nine sandwiches and 10 appetizers topple the 1,000-calorie barrier; at IHOP, the “healthiest” entrée-size salad has a staggering 1,050 calories; and at Outback, even a simple order of salmon will wipe out 75% of your day’s caloric allotment.

For more restaurant industry secrets that will freak the weight right off of you, check out these other dubious restaurant secrets that are being hidden from you!

And lose weight in record time by staying away from the unhealthiest drinks in America! They can be responsible for causing you to gain a few pounds of fat — a month!

And now that you’re aware of the danger, do us all a favor: if you notice other big fat restaurant lies, let us know. Likewise, if you’ve found ways to cut through the fast-food jungle without getting eaten, let us know that, too. When it comes to the battle of the restaurant bulge, we’re all in this together.

Calling All My Friends

So I just got off the scale and the scale had me weighing in at 192.3lbs now in truth I have been trying to take the attitude don't go by the number but how you feel but the 1-2 combination has made me realize that I gotta do something especially since every time I get up I litterally feel like my legs are going to break in 2 from this weight.

I tend to like to start things in the beginning so come May 1st I got to take a more "I care" attitude about my weight and more importantly my health. The problem is anyone of you who knows me knows sticking to diets and losing weight has been a challenge especially the maintaining part so I am calling upon all my friends to maybe post suggestions on tips of how to drop some pounds and each week I will take one of your suggestion and incorporate it into my lifestyle for one week after the week is over I will incorporate another suggestion plus the suggestion that was given to me the following week and so on and so on

And here is some background into my eating habits-I tend to be a stress eater and I tend to eat when I am bored. I am a sugar-freak eating anything from tubs of cotton candy to pints of ice-cream. I tend to eat more than drink any fluids and if I drink anything it ends up being just 1 8oz bottle of water per day or a couple of bottles of Root Beer or some form of cola. I tend to be on the go a lot so fast food chains have become a best friend of mine. I have tended to eat a lot of carbs and not as much fruit and veggies as I should. I am also prone to the late night eating and than skipping meals through out the day than gorging myself. Oh and unless you count the dog walking I do I really don't get any exercise whatsoever.

Well that's pretty much it. Like I said I plan on taking this in effect starting May 1st and I will take into effect any and all suggestions

And to any one who does offer suggestions I THANK YOU in advance

Had to Share This

OK I am sorry but I had to share this review of my apartment complex on a woman's opinion on her experience of living at The Village Green

After hiring a private investigator i found out that my husband was "involved" with a prostitute named irsi m delcarpio living in 31 village green apt b at the time she was working at the massage parlor called the ritz on bergan blvd minutes from the tunnel.
Because of this woman my life has been shattered. Shame on her, watch your husbands if you move there!

I heard that this prostitute supposedly moved out of that complex I wonder if she moved next to mine and Steve's as every so often we will hear "activity" going on behind the wall of our bedroom

N

I really don't mind....

OK for the record let me say I don't mind getting my T.O.M as I am quite used to it considering I've been getting it since Junior High-Yes I live for the day when Steve and I find out I am pregnant but if that pregnancy test I took a couple weeks back was any indication than I won't be shopping for maternity clothes anytime soon .......

HOWEVER what I do mind is getting my period late I am all ready 2 days late and even though I have been late in the past the result ALWAYS ends up being extremley painful and heavy periods not something I need considering I start another vacation care for 3 dogs tonight.

Truthfully there is a part of me that is saying maybe the test was a false negative but the other part of me is saying "Yeah right it'll come either later or by tomorrow"

And I apologize for ranting but I am just so annoyed I mean if I am going to be late than let me be late because I am receiving the best news a woman could ever get. If that is not the case than for God's sakes at least let me have my T.O.M on freaking time!!!

Anyway hope everyone has a Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend
